Lot 1104
1918-D Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. A very choice example. This beauty exudes satiny mint luster. Three tiny reeding ticks are noted in the right obverse field, noticeable only under strong magnification; all is overlayed with natural light toning. A very elusive date this choice.
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500.

Lot 1110
1938 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 66. Light cloudy toning on both sides, with a hint of gold near the edge. Sharp on the devices, but the dies appear to have been overly polished, as Liberty's back foot shows no details on toes and arch, and the flag is weak below the I of LIBERTY.
Estimated Value $600 - 650.

1942 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. ICG graded Proof 68. Toned with dark gray at the periphery and lighter hues at the centers. There is a toning band of lighter colors spanning most of the reverse. Scarce this nice, with nearly perfect surfaces. Decently struck, but Liberty's hand lacks some definition.

Lot 1122
1944-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. One of the finest graded of this slightly better date, PCGS notes just 99 this high, with only 3 graded higher, all MS-67. This coin is one of a pair stored in an old manila envelope, on this piece the obverse is toned with lovely shades of golden gray, while the reverse is mostly white with full luster. Nicely struck for the date, with most of the skirt lines sharp, but minor weakness is seen on Liberty's hand, as always for this date.
Estimated Value $1,100 - 1,400.
From the Benson collection and likely taken from a roll at the time of issue.
